My rates are listed below.
But before you scroll down, please know that I'd love to visit
schools without a fee. Unfortunately, I have to deal with expenses and
the reality of being away from my writing desk.
As a result, I
request an honorarium, plus travel and lodging.
Often, schools share these costs with PTA groups,
local reading councils, arts councils,
community organizations, or nearby schools and libraries. Many schools also
choose to sell my books, using profits to help cover the costs.
Grants are also available!
If your school, library, group,
or conference is located in
South Dakota,
the South Dakota Humanities Council Speakers Bureau may be
able to cover a generous portion of my honorarium and expenses.
