SPEAKING INFO & SCHEDULE

To tell you the truth, I'll speak just about anywhere -- schools, libraries, conferences, reading councils, church functions, community groups, historical societies, benefit picnics, you name it!
I love to talk about my writing and research processes -- and of course, the content of my books. I even dress in a replica of Jackie Mitchell's 1931 baseball uniform to tell the true story of The Girl Who Struck Out Babe Ruth.
I have several different presentations that I provide for all ages and group sizes. Just let me know what you need, and I'll do my best to meet your needs.
Good news! If your school or organization is located in South Dakota, my visit may be subsidized by the South Dakota Arts Council or the South Dakota Humanities Council. Please contact me for details.
One more thing: I also lead book discussions for the South Dakota Humanities Council for adults and for young people. For information, please contact me or visit sdhumanities.org
